Avon Electric are sole NZ agents for Frico (Sweden) Air Curtains and Mars (USA) Air Doors, and also offer custom manufactured Air Curtains to suit demanding sites. We stock popular model Air Curtains, or can offer lead times as short as two weeks on others. Each brand has a particular place in the market.
NZ weather conditions (our Souwester for example), require considerable local knowledge and practical experience for a successful installation. Avon has marketed Air Curtains since the 1960s. Call 0800 DRY- AIR (0800-379-247) for a recommendation for your project.

Avon Air Curtains
Standard Air Curtains manufactured by Avon are based on the Avon Superfan Heater. These can be customised in terms of shape, controls, noise and performance, and can be custom built to a length of up to 9m. We can offer wall mounted, ceiling mounted, suspended and concealed (air handler types). We specialise in meeting the demanding appearance requirements of architects at difficult sites.
We can also offer ducted units for concealed installation, custom built to suit any site, supplied as a kitset of parts to be installed by a local contractor.
Fan performance, heating capacity, cabinet layout, colour and grille size can all be customised to suit – contact us for further information.
Frico Air Curtains
Avon are the sole New Zealand agents for the Frico (Sweden) range of Air Curtains. Frico Air Curtains use Thermozone technology to create an efficient and invisible “door” that keeps the warm (or cool) air inside and effectively seperate the indoor and outdoor atmospheres. PA2200C
PA2200C models are compact air curtains with integrated controls and remote, suitable for horizontal mounting. Recommended for installation heights up to 2.2m. Available in 1, 1.5 and 2m lengths.
PA3200C
PA3200C model air curtains have an integrated control system and remote control. Designed for horizontal mounting at heights up to 3.2m. Available in 1, 1.5 and 2m lengths
AR200
AR200 models are compact air curtains designed for recessed mounting. Recommended for installation heights up to 2.5m. Available in 1, 1.5 and 2m lengths.
Pamir 2500
Pamir 2500 air curtains operate via the FC energy efficient control system and are suitable for horizontal mounting. Recommended for installation heights up to 2.5m. Available in 1, 1.5 and 2m lengths.
Pamir 3500
Pamir 3500 air curtains are designed for horizontal or vertical mounting and operate via the FC intelligent control system. Energy efficient EC fans allow for stepless control of the airflow. Recommended for horizontal mounting heights up to 3.5m. Available in 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5m lengths.
Pamir 4200

Available in 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5 lengths.
FC Controls
FC control is a flexible control system for Pamir, Arden and Sierra model Air Curtains. It is an energy saving system that is easy to set up and use. Frico offers several ready-made packages, components can be added to expand and customize the system.
ADA
ADA air curtains are designed for horozontal mounting at heights up to 2.5m. These are unheated models suitable for creating an environmental seperation. Available in 0.9 and 1.2m lengths.
